  • Just finished an all Bach Concert. I played the 2nd Bach Cello Suite but arranged for Recorder. We also played Bach Inventions arranged for recorders and an Organ Trio for 2 Recorders and Harpsichord which was arranged by my friend and colleague Roy Sansom. Fred Jodry was the harpsichordist . The first piece of the concert was a Suite by Bach originally written for Lute and arranged for Alto Recorder and Harpsichord.
  • Well we "Mannheim Steamroller" just finished  the Christmas Tour. It was really fun and wonderful. We played up and down the west coast and Pacific Northwest. We met lots of people and ate lots of Pacific Salmon. I am kind of experiencing the post tour blues which happens after every tour. My adrenaline spikes around 7 oclock at night thinking its going to play for thousands of people. So slowly I am weening it down to post tour pace. I will be starting a blog soon. Stay tuned for that.. Hope your New Year has lots of laughter, smiles, and peaceful moments. And remember one of the keys to life is "Balance".

I had the great honor to play with the Boston Pops Orchestra recently. My colleague Roy Sansom and I played our recorders under the baton of John Williams with the BPO at Tanglewood in the shed a couple of weeks ago. John Williams is an amazing composer as well as a gracious and kind person. We played "Diagon's Alley" from Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone. John Williams wrote the music to that movie. It was narrated by Lynn Redgrave.
